Sustainable Groudwater (Borehole) and Gold Exploration Services
EvaGo Geoconsulting is an independent geoscience practice based in Nairobi, delivering hydrogeological and borehole services alongside mineral exploration support — from first reconnaissance to final report.
What we do
Have a site that needs answers?
Welcome to EvaGo Geoconsulting Ltd.
EvaGo Geoconsulting was founded in 2020 to close the gap between subsurface data and the decisions that depend on it — where to drill, how deep and where to explore, and at what cost. We work across Kenya and the wider East African region, pairing hands-on fieldwork with rigorous geochemical and geophysical modelling.
Our team moves between two worlds that are usually kept separate: groundwater and minerals. Both start with the same question — what is beneath the surface — and both demand the same discipline in survey design, data interpretation, and reporting that clients can act on.
At EvaGo, we are true sustainability consultants, combining deep expertise with practical delivery.
Field-grounded
Every model we build is anchored to survey data and rock we have logged ourselves — not assumptions borrowed from elsewhere.
Data-driven
Geophysics, geochemistry and hydrogeology are interpreted together, using recognised methods and software, not one in isolation.
Regionally fluent
We understand Kenyan and regional regulatory processes, so recommendations are realistic to permit and to drill.
Our approach
Desk study & reconnaissance
We review existing geological, hydrological and geophysical data for the site and surrounding area before any fieldwork begins.
Field survey
Ground geophysics, geological mapping and sampling are carried out to the standard the project's data will later be judged against.
Analysis & modelling
Survey results are processed and interpreted — from sub-surface modelling to mineral reserve estimates.
Reporting & recommendation
Findings are delivered as a clear, decision-ready report: where to drill, where to explore further, and why.
Two disciplines. One standard of field and data rigour.
Hydrogeological & Borehole Siting Surveys, Borehole Drilling
Groundwater potential mapping
Desk and field assessment of an area's groundwater prospects ahead of any drilling commitment.
Geophysical borehole siting (ERT / VES)
Electrical resistivity tomography and vertical electrical sounding to locate the most viable borehole drill point.
Hydrogeological assessments
Aquifer characterisation, recharge and yield sustainability studies for domestic, agricultural and industrial supply.
Borehole drilling & Supervision
Borehole drilling services as well as independent oversight of drilling contractors, casing design and construction to protect the client's investment.
Pump testing & Yield analysis
Step-drawdown and constant-rate testing to confirm sustainable abstraction rates before handover.
Water quality sampling & EIA support
Physicochemical sampling and documentation to support NEMA environmental impact assessment requirements.
Environmental Impact assesment studies for NEMA certification on projects
Mineral Exploration
Geological mapping & reconnaissance
Field mapping of lithology, structure and alteration to define mineral target areas ahead of ground survey.
Geophysical surveys
Resistivity, induced polarisation and magnetic surveys to resolve anomalies associated with mineralisation of e.g, gold, copper and beryllium.
Geochemical sampling & assay coordination
Soil, stream-sediment and rock-chip sampling programmes coordinated with certified assay laboratories to determine mineral concentrations.
Drill-target generation
Integration of geological, geophysical and geochemical datasets into ranked, defensible drill targets or mining targets.
Resource estimation support
Data compilation and QA/QC support feeding into competent-person resource estimation workflows.
Exploration reporting & compliance
Technical reporting for permitting, joint-venture partners and regulatory submission.
